What 3 words would you use to describe Scottish Country Dancing? For those of us who love it, ‘fun, fitness and friendship’ fits the bill.
We continue to meet and welcome new dancers to our club, and you can be assured of a warm welcome at Linlithgow, whether it’s a club night or one of our dances. After a difficult couple of years it is good to know that last year things got back to normal. Many clubs did not survive the covid storm, but thankfully Scottish Country Dancing and in particular, our Linlithgow dance club, has weathered the storm.
We meet on Friday and Wednesday nights in the Chalmers Hall Linlithgow Bridge at 7.30. The Wednesday nights have more teaching input with fewer dances and a slower pace but some teaching and calling of most dances is also a feature of our usual Friday nights.
During the year we have a number of live music nights and dances in the St. Margaret Hall with super bands playing.
The 2024/25 calendar has been posted on the club website so please have a look for more details and contact emails and phone numbers for any enquiries.
