Welcome to the Website of Linlithgow Scottish Country Dance Club.

Our Club is now looking forward to the start of its 34th season and will continue to be friendly and welcoming to anyone keen to enjoy Scottish Country Dancing, no matter what level of ability or experience they may have. We try to keep up to date with new dances while not forgetting the well loved classics.

Our regular meetings are on Fridays from the first week of September until the middle of April, with this season's opening night on 6th September. We meet in Chalmers Hall, Linlithgow Bridge, and dancing starts at 7.45pm. Any unfamiliar dances are walked through initially, while better known ones are called or recapped, with the music being provided from CD recordings. We take a short break for tea/coffee/juice midway through the evening and resume dancing until shortly after 10pm.

Throughout our season we have several "special" evenings with music provided by dance bands or local musicians well known to our members.

There are well established classes for beginners held in Springfield Primary School on Wednesday evenings from mid September, see Classes page, with classes for intermediates being run from January until mid March.

The Christmas Party will take place on Friday 20th December. Programme is now available.

If you have any queries about either the classes or the club please check out the pages or email me at
