A Warm Welcome to the Website of Linlithgow Scottish Country Dance Club.

Friday night is still the night to dance in Linlithgow and the Club would be pleased to welcome new and existing members, whatever their standard. Scottish Country Dancing is the objective but we also see ourselves as a “social focal point” in the area.

We have a few larger dances with a band during the season but on other Friday nights we have out Club Nights with recorded music, a member calling the dances and a chance to chat over tea and a biscuit. We also have several social events.

For dances we now use the Queen Margaret Hall, Blackness Road but for Club Nights and social events we use the cosy Chalmers Hall at Linlithgow Bridge.

We no longer offer organised classes but would be pleased to give advice about classes in the area. We are offering, instead, in the first part of the season, half an hours instruction before Club Nights. See calendar for dates marked with ** when they will be held. Let usknow what you require.

We also hope to give our dance callers advice and help during the season.

Please join us.
